Help Support our PTA Programs

Help Support our PTA Programs

As a member, you help support our PTA programs, which directly benefit all Iron Horse students and families.

Join the PTA and together we can make a difference in our children’s education experience. As a member, you are NOT obligated to volunteer or attend PTA meetings.
PTA IND Individual memberships are set up for families that have only one parent/guardian that would like to be a member.
PTA FAM Family Membership is set up to offer a discount if there is more than one family/guardian member that wants to support the PTA.
PTA DONATE
PTA Donation is set up for Iron Horse families to donate to the PTA and help keep our programs alive.

Beyond the programs and events, PTA donations also help purchase other necessary items at our school that most families are not aware of, i.e. purchasing clean water stations, outdoor lunch tables, ping pong tables, assemblies for character education and structural needs, like new bulletin boards.

DigitalCitizenship

With 92 percent of teens going online daily and nearly three-quarters of kids age 0–8 using apps, as parents and educators, we want to raise kids to be safe, responsible, and ethical in the digital world. Giving kids a solid understanding of how we expect them to behave -- both online and off -- starts everyone off on the right foot.

SRVUSD has a new digital citizenship website where you can find more information  www.digitalsrvusd.net.

Common Sense Media offers parents a number of resources to help you have discussions with your teens as well as learn about the websites and apps they are using. Not sure where to start the conversation with your students? Take a look at Common Sense Media’s tips for talking with your kids about being digital citizens or look at their webpage on frequent parent concerns.
